Sunshine Region 2025 Convention

  • The Sunshine Region of the NMRA invites you to our new convention home at the Ocala Hilton in beautiful Ocala, Florida, known as The Horse Capital of the World(r), for Iron Horse 2025!

  • Enjoy numerous hands-on activities, clinics, op sessions, contests, meet and greet, fellowship, and more. The convention will run from 4 pm Thursday, October 09, 2025, to  Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11 pm (or when the banquet breaks up).

  • Sunshine Region Board Meeting will run from 9:00 am to 12 noon on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

SWLS Blowdown and HALS Anniversary Meet at the Houston Area Live Steamers

  • A Houston Area Live Steamers and Southwestern Live Steamers joint meet.
  • Located in the Houston, Texas, area.
  • The Houston Area Live Steamers features ground level 7-1/2" gauge, 4-3/4" gauge track, and an elevated Gauge 1 track.
  • Meets are open to modelers interested in large-scale railroading and all forms of live steam.
