• The Sunshine Region of the NMRA invites you to our new convention home at the Ocala Hilton in beautiful Ocala, Florida, known as The Horse Capital of the World(r), for Iron Horse 2024!
• Enjoy numerous hands-on activities, clinics, op sessions, contests, meet and greet, fellowship, and more. The convention will run from 4 pm Thursday, October 10, 2024, to  Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11 pm (or when the banquet breaks up).  

The 2024 NRHS Spring Conference will take place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The agenda includes Advisory Council and Board of Directors meetings on Sunday, May 5, and a rare-mileage inspection trip on Iowa Interstate, plus an exclusive visit to Railroading Heritage of Midwest America's shop in Silvis, Illinois, on Monday, May 6. 

The host hotel is the Best Western Plus Longbranch Hotel, 90 Twixt Road NE, Cedar Rapids. They are offering a very attractive rate of $109 per night, plus tax. Booking information will follow in a subsequent mailing.

South Carolina, Easley - CRMHA's 2024 Model Train Expo returns Friday & Saturday, February 16-17 (the weekend after the Super Bowl). Great operating layouts and exhibits; 160+ Dealer tables; Kids Zone featuring Thomas the Tank and Brio. $8 adult admission is good on both days. Children FREE. Pennsylvania, Blue Ridge Summit - Saturday, April 6, MER South Mountain Division and Mainline Hobby Supply host their 10th annual Mini-Con, Blue Ridge Fire Hall, 13063 Monterey Ln. 9-3, One-day free event across the street from Mainline Hobby Supply, consisting of prototype and modeling presentations, formal and informal clinics, modular displays, interaction with fellow hobbyists and beginners, plus a 10% discount at Mainline Hobby Supply. This free-admission, wheelchair-accessible educational event is open to the public to promote the hobby of model railroading.
