America's Largest Operating Model Railroad Show is on track for this Fall
MILWAUKEE, WI, MAY 2020 -- Trainfest(r), America's Largest Operating Model Railroad Show, is prepared for its best year yet with plans for the 49th Annual show at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in the city of festivals, Milwaukee. The event is open from 9AM - 5PM on Saturday, November 14th and 9AM - 4PM on Sunday, November 15th of 2020.
Trainfest(r), produced by the WISE Division of the National Model Railroad Association, is a favorite of hobbyists, renowned exhibitors, and families alike. The event, which started in 1972, offers "how-to" clinics and demos, 70 amazingly detailed operating railroads, and four football fields of hobbyist displays and fun. Trainfest(r) also has a rideable train, kid-friendly activities, and the opportunity for children to become a 'Junior Engineer.' The imagination of a kid, or a kid-at-heart, is present in each of the layouts on exhibit throughout the show floor.
