Registration for the sunshine Region 2020 Convention is now open (At least written registrations.) The online registration program is not up and running yet. Registrations, Friday Night BBQ, Banquet and SSR Polo Shirts are available currently. Hands-on Clinics, Prototype Tour and OP Sessions will be added as soon as final details can be worked out.
All who register before May 1st will be entered into a raffle for a NEO for Iwata Gravity-Feed, Dual-Action Airbrush. We must have (for the raffle to work) at least 30 registrations.
Something new this year. We will hold a Railroad / Holiday Trivia Contest. This will be a fun way to see just how much you know about the real railroads, model railroading, and the three upcoming holidays. There will be three sessions for this contest. Thursday night, Friday morning and Friday night. If you attend one session you can- not attend the other two. We are holding the Contest in three sections so that everyone attending the Convention will have an opportunity to participate in the Trivia Contest and attend the Clinics and OP Sessions of their choice. The winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) will be announced at the Banquet on Saturday Night. Oh' by the way, the questions will be different for all three sessions, so comparing notes won't help to win, but will make for a lively conversation between Clinics.
Anyone ordering SSR Polo shirts can pick them up at the Registration Desk at the Convention on October 1st. Or, if you want them earlier, we can ship them to you. Just add $16.00 (each shirt) for shipping & handling to your Registration Fee.
