Who gets access to the digital version? Each member (except those from the Australasian Region) automatically gets access to the digital version of the NMRA Magazine with your membership.
What if I want the print version? If you are a current magazine subscriber, you will continue to receive the print version until your subscription ends. When you renew your membership, you can choose to add a print subscription.
I’m a Life Member, do I still get the paper version? Life members will continue to get the printed magazine unless they opt-out by contacting the office by phone or by email:nmrahq [at] nmra.org (subject: Life%20member%20printed%20magazine.)
How do I access the digital version of the NMRA Magazine? There will be a website for desktop viewing and apps to download for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You will need the email address you use for your NMRA membership. Please refer to the links below for detailed "How-To" instructions.
How do I print from the desktop? There is a print icon in the menu on the upper left of the screen. You can print one full spread of two pages at a time.
How do I view the magazine offline on my handheld mobile devices? You have the option of downloading issues to your device.
How do I know when there is a new digital issue available? New issues will be released mid-month, and you can opt-in to notifications through the apps.
Can I download the whole magazine as a pdf to share with someone or keep it on my computer? Unfortunately not. The web app will allow you to download for offline reading on a computer and the Apple and Google Play Store apps for reading offline on your mobile device.
How do I access the older Bulletins, Scale Rails, and some older NMRA magazines? You use any browser that can view a pdf file and start by going to this link; then follow the years, till you get to the issue you want to see. Click and read!

Using Chrome or Edge browsers preferably (to enable offline reading), navigate to nmra.zinioapps.com and register for the digital magazine using your NMRA.org email address. Then go to the sign in icon in the top right corner:
A pop up will appear, and click the "Register here" link:
Then use the same email address you use to log in to nmra.org and select a password of your choice:
